  6. Hi mom. I miss you and I don’t like being alone. I knew something was up when I saw those suitcases. Beth comes home at odd times way past my supper time so I eat at odd times. I miss my routine/schedule. I miss my walks. I miss someone always here with me. Julie came over tonight. I thought she was here to let me out and feed me but no. I miss being in the basement with someone. Beth is trying to keep my morning routine but it doesn’t seem to happen. It seems like forever since I seen you. Wherever you are I hope you are having a great time. Love, Jessie 🙂

  9. Hello everybody! God is so good-I have been out in the hot sun all day working on building a home for a family in the village that we’re working in. I feel really good – Now that’s a major miracle! Beth I loved the email from Jessie, tell her I’ll be home as soon as possible! This really is an experience that everyone should have, man, are these people in need. It’s more than I can process really. Dad is really in his eliment, happy as a monkey with a cupcake!!!! Ei and Kyson, I miss you and I’m waiting for an email from you. Keep praying everybody, I’m doing great and we all know that that’s an answer to your prayers. I love you all and keep emailing, I love it, it’s so encouraging. Talk to you later. Love Mom

  10. Mom,
It makes us SO happy to read your posts!! Just makes our hearts full of joy 🙂 Our God is just ridiculously amazing isn’t He?! Always giving us more than we could ask or imagine. I keep thinking about those evening devotions as a group, and what a blessing they are. We think about you often and pray, pray, pray. We love you dearly!
P.S. I didn’t realize Terry Mason and his wife Sue were going to be at Paradise Bound with you (I just knew they were going to be in Guatemala). Terry was like a mentor to me the last time I was there. He is just a very special guy (I haven’t met his wife but I’m sure she’s wonderful too!!) I just love it that God is “connecting my worlds”! 🙂

    Sending lots of love!

  11. I am so happy that you are feeling good. Praise God! I can’t wait to hear your stories when you get back.

  12. Good Morning, Yesterday went great! Today is our last day in the village building. I have enjoyed this trip more than you know! Steph…. I haven’t been at evening devotions because I fall asleep at about 7:30! Crazy huh? But I know that I have to get enough sleep and so far it’s paying off. Pray today for the family we’re building for is a single mom and her 2 year old daughter. Her Mother might be living there too, she is wheelchair bound. They need alot of prayer and love, please remember them in prayer today. Have a wonderful day everyone, I love you!!!! Mom

  13. HEY MOM….glad u’re still doing great!!! I pray and praise God about that. Kyson’s doing good but is getting into trouble for spitting and hitting at daycare 😦 Hopefully he gets over that soon. I’m also glad to hear how touching the people are there and how much there are in need. I’ll continue to keep you and dad in my prayers. I really can’t wait til u get back so I can hear more about the trip. LUV U…..
    Dai & Kyson ❤

  14. Just a quick note….. Today was a day to remember for eternity! We’re running late so I’ll write again tomorrow. Love to all of you, Mom

  15. Good Morning, Today is our last day here and I feel very confused. Some of you may say that that’s typical for me but this is different! My heart is breaking that we couldn’t do more, I’m just so thankful that God can take our feeble attempts and magnify them to the max! Thank you so much for the prayers for my health, it really has been a miracle! I feel like spiritually I’ve been kicked in the butt about compassion and mercy. WOW! Praise God for the work He continues to do in our lives! I love you all, Mom

  16. Mom,
I can imagine that yesterday was emotionally exhausting. It’s one of those days you feel like you see a whole new depth of God’s love, and like you said, compassion for His people. So glad He has given you the strength to carry on (and glad you’re going to bed early!!) We are so excited to see you all again and get to hear you share all the amazing details. Sending lots of love and prayers!

  17. O.K. Everybody , this is your only warning! We’ll be on our way home in about 10 hours and we may have a hard time not talking your legs off!! Love you all, Mom
